Living boldly is being my true authentic self.
Not denying who I am.
It is being compassionate towards myself. Allowing the needed rest or alone time to feel whole and empowered.
It is taking time every day to do my spiritual practices before I check email or the phone. It is giving space to myself and allowing what matters to me, (instead of what others think I need to be doing).
Taking time to check in, by putting my feet on the ground and feel if something is good for me….or not.

Living boldly is taking chances, putting myself out there. Whether it is creating a web site, or a creative project. Not being shy or embarrassed about what I want to say or do. It is trying new things, going somewhere I haven’t been. Facing any fears about hiking along a cliff, walking down the dark trail knowing and trusting I am taken care of in the greater sense of life.
It is nourishing this body so it operates at an effective level. I am what I eat, so I value how I feed myself. I create a healthy mind set when I eat clean. Knowing what this body requires to be healthy and valuing myself enough to do it every day.
Dressing in a way that expresses who I am is an art. It’s the way I like to be seen as someone who is creative and takes care of how I present myself authentically.
It is knowing my limitations and being okay with them.
Honoring my true self in that.
Allowing myself to be happy, to find joy in the moment and the day-to-day. After all, joy and love is our true essence.

By not being aggressive. Being patient with life, not pushing and expecting. Allowing.
It is being able to ask for the help or guidance I need that may change everything for me and also allowing the of receiving help.
Living boldly is not holding myself to anyone else’s or society’s ideas of who I *should be, and being comfortable in being who I am. Knowing I am enough and have nothing to prove for the sake of someone else’s approval.
*It’s not polite to should on yourself!
Living boldly feels good to me.
How do you live boldly?
